NZCTWA
The New Zealand Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Association [NZCTWA] is a Ministry Of Health (MOH) recognised Self - Regulating trade group devoted to protecting public safety by ensuring teeth whitening practitioners are professionally trained, Certified and regulated
It is a non-profit Association
Dealing with an NZCTWA Registered Teeth Whitening Practitioner displaying NZCTWA Certification is the public assurance that they are dealing with a trained, qualified, and safe Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Practitioner or vendor who takes pride in the quality of their service and care
The Effect of Membership Cancellation
NZCTWA Membership maybe cancelled for two reasons:
1. A breach of the NZCTWA Code of Conduct
2. Non payment of annual renewal fees by the due date
NZCTWA Membership and Practitioner Registration has been cancelled
As an immediate result subject to Clause 5.1 (b) and 6.2 (a) of the Membership Application Agreement it will become illegal for you to display any NZCTWA Membership and NZCTWA Registered Practitioner certificates
ALSO
It will also be unlawful for you to use any other NZCTWA Intellectual property such as NZCTWA Logos/Devices in any printed form or electronic form or signage or text in any media that may misleadingly imply that you are a NZCTWA Member or NZCTWA Registered Practitioner
To do so would not only be a violation of your Intellectual property contract with the NZCTWA, but also it would constitute a breach of the Fair Trading Act which can result in fines up to $200,000
Should you wish to rejoin at a later date, you will be required to pay the NZCTWA joining fee applicable at the time, rather than the annual renewal fee.
In New Zealand, the NZ Governments Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) (formerly ERMA) has established Public Safety Standards for the Cosmetic Teeth Whitening products suppliers and practitioners of our industry
